No, it wasn't an April Fool joke when we posted on the 1st April that we were to be awarded the RSGB Kenwood Trophy for “making significant contributions to Training and Development in Amateur Radio within the United Kingdom”.
This photo shows the RSGB President Colin Thomas, G3PSM (left), Paul, M0TZO (centre) & Peter M3PHP (right). Peter will be looking after the award (carefully) for the next year. He was near the point of complaining from having to carry the box by time we had left Bristol after a meal.
